This is disappointing news for aspirants who had been working so hard from the past several months. Staff Selection Commission will now issue a fresh recruitment notification for the year 2017 advertising new posts.

Staff Selection Commission has uploaded an official notice on their website which has made it clear that the Multi Tasking paper stands cancelled for all 5 days.

Reason for SSC MTS Exam Cancellation

The papers for all 5 days have been cancelled owing to leakage of papers at most centers. Staff Selection Commission was unable to control the cheating and the leaks that happened at various centres throughout the country. This will come across as disturbing news to lakhs of aspirants who had given the exam or were about to give the exam in the upcoming days. Aspirants will have to prepare afresh for this exam now.

Changes to be Implemented from this year

The SSC MTS Exam 2017 will now be conducted in online mode like the other SSC exams (CHSL and CGL). The pattern to be followed has not been issued yet but is most likely to be on the lines of the CHSL examination.
